Victorian Carolers
in the Park

Holiday Season of November -January 2016/2017
This installation was created to evoke the holiday spirit in
the community. The Victorian Christmas Carolers were created from chicken wire
armatures, hand-made and locally donated clothing, and Styrofoam heads painted
and adorned with custom made hats and accessories. They figures had to be
sturdy and weather resistant. Additional electric candles were added to the
display and holiday decorations. Opening night caroler music was played near
the installation. Our goal was to create a vintage display of a traditional
activities that take place in a community during the winter holiday season and
bring the creative spirit to the public.
